"I grew up both in and outside of the USA, mostly in the country of Indonesia. After spending part of my adulthood adapting to American life, I went to college to become equipped to help people who fall through the cracks. I have earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Goshen College and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University South Bend. My work as a counselor at the Center for Positive Change began late in 2023. I enjoy providing psychoeducation, helping people process their emotions, develop their motivations, build healthy habits, and explore solutions to personal or interpersonal problems. 

To give an idea of how I work with my clients, I tend to take an approach that seeks respect for and understanding of another person’s perspective as an imperative part of the helping process. My methods lean towards evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing along with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy."
