About Me...
"I am a Black lady serving as a mental health social worker at The Center for Positive Change, who brings over 25 years of invaluable experience to my role as a guiding light for individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds seeking solace and healing. I am married with adult children, a Christian and has retained a Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University.
I have a rich professional history that includes engaging in culturally sensitive practices, utilizing strength-based, trauma-focused, and problem-solving skills for individuals. I adeptly navigate stress, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance abuse, social challenges, relationship complexities, and other mental health disorders by utilizing various therapies such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic and Mindfulness Meditation (Holistic).
My legacy is one of profound impact, bridging diverse therapeutic modalities and cultural sensitivities to empower individuals that I have served onto their paths to mental health wellness."
