About Me

"I am a multiracial woman who has been practicing individual, family, and group counseling since 2018 at The Center for Positive Change. I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2015 and Master of Social Work degree in 2018 from Indiana University. I started my work at The Center for Positive Change as an intern in 2017. My practice includes individual and family counseling, Women’s Domestic Violence group facilitation, and Batterer’s Intervention group facilitation. I specialize in domestic violence, trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and low self-esteem. I primarily work with children and adolescents ranging from ages 6 to 18 and young adult women. I very much enjoy teaching people about the dynamics of healthy and unhealthy relationships and the impacts on individuals, children, family members, and other surrounding friendships.

As a person who grew up in a multicultural home, I have insight into the stress and struggles of those who may have grown up in similar situations. I became a mental health professional to help others experiencing trauma and other life difficulties similar to my own struggles, and I want to give back to the community the same benefits that other professionals afforded to me. I love helping people identify and reach their goals, and I look forward to witnessing your growth as a person. You deserve it!"
